In the last stages of pregnancy, specific and well-integrated nutrition is required: the last quarter is associated with a greater expenditure of energy, as the completion of the foal’s development. In particular, the diet must be integrate with some oligoelements useful for the development of the fetus and the subsequent production of milk.

  • Selenium, Vitamin E and Polyphenols have an antioxidant action
  • Betaglucans support the function of the immune system
  • Selenium improves the quality of colostrum
  • Choline chloride and Niacinamide improve liver efficiency, as they allow proper assimilation of lipids, proteins and carbohydrates
  • The oligoelements Copper and Zinc, which both are present in an innovative chelate form, are more bioavailable by the body
  • Copper is an important cofactor involved in the cross-linking of collagen
  • Zinc supports the synthesis of keratin, an essential component of the hoof, hair and mane
  • Biotin is an essential substance for the horse's hoof, thanks to its strengthening effect
  • Lysine supports the development and formation of the muscles and bone structure of the unborn foal
  • The different sources of Calcium and the Vitamin D3 allow the correct absorption of calcium
  • Mannanoligosaccharides, combined with Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Carob, keep the intestinal microbiota healthy and efficient
