HOOF-ON – HOOVES

The horse’s hoof performs many functions, such as reducing causal trauma from the ground and preserving the structures inside the foot. It is a complex organ that can undergo some metabolic disorder,
such as fragility, presence of fissure or run into complications following uncorrected shoeing. To ensure it performs its functions effectively, it is important to expose the hoof to special ointments and administer compounds that act internally to the horse.

Functionality

Biotin is an essential substance for the horse’s hoof, as it contributes to the formation of keratin, a primary component of the wall
The trace elements Copper and Zinc, both combined in an innovative chelate form, are more bioavailable by the body
Copper is an important cofactor involved in the cross-linking of collagen
Zinc supports the synthesis of keratin, an essential component of the hoof, hair and mane
Methionine, an amino acid rich in sulfur, added in pure form, performs a synergistic action both in the liver and in the formation of the wall making it resistant and elastic
Glycine is a structural component of collagen
Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Carob keep functional digestive system
Betaglucans stimulate the immune system
Carnitine and Niacinamide optimize and support liver functions
Selenium and Vitamin C counteract the formation of free radicals
