Pregnancy and breastfeeding are delicate stages in the mare’s life, no aspect should be left to chance. In the last stages of pregnancy, specific and well-integrated nutrition is required: the last quarter is associated with a greater expenditure of energy, as the completion of the foal’s development. In particular, the diet must be add with some oligoelements useful for the development of the fetus and the subsequent production of milk.
